Location

• From Catania–Fontanarossa Airport “Vincenzo Bellini” (CTA): Upon landing, you can reach Stella del Mare Apartments in just under one hour by car via the E45 towards Syracuse. Alternatively, you can take two buses, which will bring you to Fontane Bianche in approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes.

• From Comiso Airport “Pio La Torre” (CIY): Upon landing in Comiso, you can reach Stella del Mare Apartments in about 1 hour and 25 minutes by car, travelling along the A18/E45 towards Syracuse.

• From Malta International Airport (MLA): If you arrive at Malta Airport, you will need to travel to Valletta to take a ferry to Italy, arriving at the port of Pozzallo in approximately 3 hours. From there, follow the SS115 towards Noto and you will reach Fontane Bianche in about 40 minutes.

• From Syracuse (27 min): Take Via Elorina and join the SS115 Sud Occidentale Sicula towards Fontane Bianche. The drive covers approximately 17 km and will take you directly to our apartments.

• From Catania (58 min): Located about 75 km away, Catania is an ideal starting point if you arrive in Sicily by air or by sea. Take the E45 towards Fontane Bianche and you will reach our apartments in just under one hour.

• From Messina (1 h 56 min): Upon arrival at the Port of Messina, take the A18/E45 towards Syracuse and drive for approximately 160 km. Exit at Cassibile, and you will reach Stella del Mare Apartments in less than 10 minutes.

• From Palermo (3 h 10 min): If you arrive in Palermo by plane or ferry, take the A19/E932 for approximately 260 km towards Catania. Exit at Cassibile and, in less than 10 minutes, you will arrive in Fontane Bianche.

Fontane Bianche is served by a small railway station located on Via delle Muse, about a 7-minute walk from Stella del Mare Apartments. The station is just a few minutes away by car and can also be reached in approximately 5 minutes by local bus.

Fontane Bianche is served by a convenient public bus service to and from Syracuse and Cassibile. The closest bus stops to our apartments on lines 21 and 22 are Viale dei Lidi 479 and Viale dei Lidi 428, both located approximately 50 metres away.

• From Porto Grande, Syracuse: this is the closest port to Fontane Bianche and the most convenient landing point for those travelling along the eastern coast or arriving by private boat. From Syracuse, you can reach our apartments in approximately 25 minutes by car.

• From the Port of Catania: for travellers arriving from other islands, Central Italy, or Northern Italy, the Port of Catania offers a good balance between accessibility and infrastructure. From here, you can reach us in about one hour by car.

• From the Port of Messina: for those arriving from Calabria or other regions of Southern Italy, ferries connect the mainland to Messina. From the port, Fontane Bianche can be reached in just under 2 hours by car.

• From the Port of Pozzallo (Ragusa): if travelling from Malta, head to the Port of Valletta and take a ferry to Pozzallo (approximately 3 hours). From there, Fontane Bianche can be reached in about 40 minutes by car.

From Via Calliope 17, exit the gate on the right, walk to the end of the road, then turn left onto Viale dei Lidi. Shortly after, on your right, you will find Lido Camomilla and the adjacent free beach. From here, the entire Fontane Bianche coastline begins, allowing access to the other beaches along the shore. Leaving the parking area at Via Urania 17, you can reach house number 28, from where you can access La Spiaggetta.
