A unique experience to learn the secrets of fresh homemade pasta.
During this interactive lesson, you will learn how to prepare different shapes of pasta with your own hands. The cooking class will take place either in the historic center at a cooking school location or at home, depending on availability, and will last approximately 2 hours. The experience will begin with a very informal welcome aperitif, featuring high-quality traditional Sicilian products.
Then the lesson will begin, which will be private and exclusive or in a group, at the end of which you will be offered a tasting of the recipes made during the cooking class and a light lunch with fresh, local, and seasonal products in a “single dish,” wine, water, dessert, and limoncello. The menus (all of which can be made on request in vegetarian, gluten-free, or lactose-free versions) must be agreed upon in advance and may include the following:
First menu: Arancini with ragù Vegetarian arancini
Second menu: Sicilian wheat spaghetti with fresh Sicilian tomato sauce and beef meatballs
Third menu: Fresh pasta with vegetarian sauce
Fourth menu: Tiramisu Fifth menu: Cannoli with ricotta cream Duration of activity: 1.5 hours
Cost per person: €140.00 min. 2 max. 8 in a private home, 6 to 12 at the Cooking School in Syracuse.
Children from 0 months to 5 years old participate free of charge.
Children aged 6 to 12 will pay €60.
Activities can be booked upon written request, subject to availability on the date requested. Only then can the date and activity be confirmed. All activities can be canceled no later than 7 days before the scheduled date, by which time they must be paid for in full.
