On this exciting tour, you will have the opportunity to discover the colorful market of Ortigia, learn new recipes during an interactive cooking class, and finally savor a selection of delicious dishes for a complete culinary experience. The activity will begin with a pleasant stroll through the Ortigia market, accompanied by a local chef.
During the market visit, we will buy fresh produce together for our cooking class, so the menus will be completely to your taste and you can take advantage of some personal shopping time for your gastronomic purchases! Then we will head to the cooking school in the heart of Ortigia or just outside, where our chef will help you prepare a typical Sicilian lunch using the fresh produce you have just bought at her home or at the cooking school.
The lesson will take place in an informal and fun atmosphere, thanks to the personality of our outgoing Sicilian chef, who will offer many tastings during the preparations and good Sicilian wine. We will all have lunch together, sharing the dishes we have just made! The dishes can also be made on request with gluten-free, lactose-free, or vegetarian ingredients. The activity lasts approximately 3.5 hours.
Participation in the activity is open to everyone, families with children, people with physical disabilities, and people with food allergies.
