Description: Visiting the Ortigia market means getting lost in a variety of flavors, aromas, and colours that evoke Sicily. The experience begins with a gastronomic shopping tour among the market stalls, where participants can taste fresh local products.
The experience then continues at a cooking school in Ortigia, with a cooking class led by an experienced chef, during which you will prepare a traditional Sicilian dish using the ingredients purchased. The convivial atmosphere will make you feel at home, thanks to food samples during the preparation, accompanied by a DOC Sicilian wine tasting. At the end of the class, lunch will follow: a moment of sharing where the dishes prepared are enjoyed together. Upon request, gluten-free, lactose-free, or vegetarian options can be provided to meet all guests’ needs.
Information: The experience lasts approximately 3.5 hours and is available from Monday to Saturday, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The activities are accessible to everyone, including families with young children, guests with physical disabilities, and those with food intolerances.
Price: The activity costs €140 per person on an all-inclusive basis for private groups of at least 8 participants, and €170 per person for groups of 2 participants. In the case of a single participant, the cost is €320. For children under 5 years old, the experience is free of charge, while for children aged 6 to 12 the cost is €60.
