Description: Among the picturesque alleys of Ortigia’s historic centre, you can savour authentic Sicilian products thanks to the Street Food Tour, led by an experienced local guide who will welcome you to the local market to rediscover tradition. Strolling among the market stalls, you will have the chance to purchase local ingredients and taste typical street food from Trinacria, such as arancini, fried pizza, and traditional sweets. Below is an example of the gastronomic offer, which may vary according to seasonality and availability.
Selection of typical products: Bruschetta with Sicilian caponata, bruschetta with sun-dried tomatoes, a selection of three DOP Sicilian cheeses, a selection of three DOP cured meats, olive cunzate, mixed fried fish, boiled octopus salad, pistachio arancino, and impanate filled with seasonal vegetables.
Dessert selection: Almond pastries, brioche col tuppo with Sicilian granitas, cannoli, espresso coffee, or cappuccino. All tastings are accompanied by two glasses of wine or two soft drinks of your choice, as well as water.
Information: The experience lasts approximately 2 hours and includes a local guide, also available in English. It is available upon request from Monday to Saturday and is accessible to everyone, including families with children, guests with physical disabilities, and those with food intolerances.
Price: The all-inclusive experience costs €100 per person for groups of a minimum of 4 participants. For groups of 2 participants, the price is €120 per person.
